International Entrepreneurship in the Arts: From Helsinki to Singapore
Prof. Dr. Lidia Varbanova, Director of MA program in Management of Performing Arts and Industries at NATFA was invited by the well-known Sibelius Academy, Helsinki during this academic semester to teach part of an online module on Entrepreneurship in the Arts at the MA program in Arts Management, Society and Creative Entrepreneurship.
The module emphasized on the digital entrepreneurship, social and business entrepreneurial models in the arts, diverse financial sources for startups, methods and strategies in support of arts entrepreneurs internationally. Prof. Varbanova is invited as a Scholar in Residence by the BA(Hons) Arts Management Programme at the Lasalle College for the Arts in Singapore to teach in the online module on Strategic and Entrepreneurial Thinking for Arts Organisations in 2022.
The two modules are based on her renowned book International Entrepreneurship in the Arts, published by Routledge and used in several arts management programs internationally.
