The IN SITU project has just released Episode 5 of its new podcast series IN SITU Dialogues: Place-based creativity from the ground up.

The power of art and creativity to transform young lives is impossible to ignore. Just ask Rita Silva (Transmalhar) and Shane O’Malley (The Voice of Youth)—two bold, boundary-pushing creators who shape their work with young people.

They use art in their own ways. One experimenting with non-formal education methods, the other creating a platform for young people to question society, but they share the same mission: to help youth grow stronger, more confident, and fully aware that their voices matter.

This conversation is part of an 8-episode series (Oct 2025–Spring 2026), featuring voices from 12 case studies across six non-urban regions in Europe: artists, cultural entrepreneurs, and community organisers shaping new pathways for culture-based development.
