Call for Contributions
The PIE working group invites students, teachers, deans, directors, policymakers/advisors, heads of education departments and heads of internationalisation, Erasmus+ coordinators and anyone interested and dealing with internationalisation in higher art education and research from ELIA member institutions to co-create the programme and submit proposals on the main theme. Our Call for Contributions is open now!
Co-create the PIE Annual Meeting 2024 with us
Share your experiences, research and case-study examples. We are looking for contributions from international colleagues that respond to the following topics:
Institutional cooperation
Good practices of sustainable institutional cooperation — the choices considered when partnerships are built and the impact on education and the learning community.
Projects
Based on the concept of “making a meaningful contribution to the society”. Research on topics of internationalisation leading to societal contributions.
Students, teachers and supporting staff
Contributing to ‘Internationalisation at Home’ — the process, the implementation and the effect.
Language
Good practice of internationalisation keeping and preserving the traditional, national, regional, local language.
Student well-being
Good-practices and research into student well-being and the impact of internationalisation. Good practices of ensuring a safe learning and working environments, code of conduct and the outcomes of their implementation.
Europeanisation versus internationalisation
Projects, research, studies that connect the wider world with Europe. Internationalisation of higher arts education viewed through a different perspective.
Equity, diversity and inclusion
The synergy between internationalisation and fostering equity, diversity and inclusion in education and research. Partnerships, projects, student initiatives, staff initiatives etc. Human resource policies that contribute to EDI and internationalisation. Student recruitment and admission policies that contribute to EDI and internationalisation.
Who can apply?
Representatives of ELIA member institutions from all artistic disciplines and departments. As PIE is ELIA’s Platform for Internationalisation, this Call for Contributions is particularly interesting for heads of internationalisation, policymakers, leadership, and other staff members who are researching, advising on, creating strategies and policies in the field of internationalisation. Submissions by and with students are also very welcome.
