NATFIZ completed the last workshop from the IN SITU capacity-building program

As an important part of IN SITU project, the capacity-building programme enables the culture and creative industries in non-urban regions across Europe to advance and become drivers of innovation, entrepreneurship, competitiveness and sustainability. During one year (September 2023-Seprember 2024), we organised a series of interactive workshops and seminars in six regions of Europe, located in Iceland, Ireland, Finland, Portugal, Latvia and Croatia.

The collaborative interactive workshop “Cooperation for sustainability: Strengthening capacities of local actors”, was the last one from this part of IN SITU project., held in Šibenik, Croatia and online on 30 September-1 October 2024. The workshop covered actual and needed areas, such as strategic management and leadership, networking and partnerships building on a local and regional level, community building and audience participation, and financial and fundraising opportunities for individual artists and entrepreneurs. Artists, arts managers and entrepreneurs, experts from the region and other countries actively participated online and offline in the 2-day workshop. The trainers Lidia Varbanova, Antonija Letinić, Igor Bajok and Tanja Kalčić presented diverse examples from cultural practices, in connection with theoretical discourses, and facilitated the group work in an interactive manner.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their insights and made this workshop a valuable experience!

This workshop was co-organized by The Zaklada Kultura Nova (KNF), Croatia, and the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts “Kr. Sarafov” (NATFIZ), Bulgaria. More info, see here.
