One week left to the international symposium in Reykjavik!
The symposium Unlocking the Power of Rural Cultural and Creative Industries: The Intersection of Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship will take place on May 30, 2025. In Reykjavik, Iceland. This forum will explore how culture and creativity can stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship for economic and social development in remote areas in European countries.
Prof. Dr. Lidiya Varbanova, Head of the Master’s Program “Management in the Performing Arts and Industries” at NATFA will deliver a scientific and practical report on “Capacity Building for Creative Entrepreneurs in Rural Areas: Opportunities, Challenges and Trends” as part of the session “Entrepreneurship in the Creative Economy: Turning Ideas into Impact”
This symposium is an important event for artists, researchers, art managers, politicians and anyone interested in the state and trends in the development of remote regions in Europe. It is organized by the Creative Industries Research Center in Iceland, in cooperation with the IN SITU project partners.
