Twelve projects identified as IN SITU case studies

During the months of May and June, the IN SITU Survey ‘Mapping of cultural and creative projects & selection of case studies’, received a wide response from the different agents of  the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs) in the six IN SITU Lab regions of non-urban areas in Europe – Azores archipelago, Portugal; Western coastal periphery, Ireland; West region, Iceland; Rauma and Eurajoki municipalities, Finland; Valmiera County, Latvia; Šibenik-Knin County, Croatia.

The IN SITU Survey was led by the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) and the 6 Lab partners. All projects submitted to the survey were discussed and evaluated with a group of local stakeholders. The case studies play a central role within the IN SITU project, as they aim to demonstrate the innovative and transformative role of cultural and creative organisations and professionals in responding to key local issues in each Lab location.
