OTRANTO FILM FUND FESTIVAL

The second edition of the summer school in Filmmaking hosted within the Otranto Film Fund Festival presents a training offer divided into three blocks:

 > – 10 hours of theoretical frontal teaching focused on the aesthetics of cinema

 > – 10 hours of supplementary seminar teaching focused on the film making process

 > – 15 hours of Film Lab, a laboratory in which the students of the school work on the creation of an audiovisual output on the theme “Diversity and inclusion” to be presented on the final evening of the festival

 > The lectures are entrusted to professors of the degree courses in entertainment disciplines of the universities that sponsor the initiative: University of Salento, University of Calabria, IULM.

 > The seminar teaching is entrusted to teachers of film schools that adhere to the summe school: (CSC-Nafta- Barreira )

 > The Film Lab is entrusted to a director who will be responsible for dictating the guidelines for the work to be carried out;  the students will also be followed by a professional, expert in shooting and editing techniques.

 > All lessons will be in Italian, with simultaneous translation in English, except in cases of non-Italian speaker.

 > The segments of frontal and integrative teaching will be available in streaming and / or in podcasts on Canali festival
