10th Visegrad Film Forum (Bratislava, March 15-18, 2023)
Participants will enjoy 4 amazing days full of screenings of student films, master classes with renowned experts, case studies of interesting film projects, discussions, and workshops.
The first confirmed guests of the 10th edition are leading film producent Jim Stark, who collaborated at the beginning of his career with director Jim Jarmusch (Mysterious train, Night on Earth). In the past year, his most recent film, Triangle of Sadness, premiered to immense international acclaim.
Polish cinematographer Pawel Edelman has worked on such films as The Pianist, Katyń, Oliver Twist, and All the King’s Men. He has been nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA award, and an American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) award.
VFF will welcome Iranian director Sepideh Farsi, whose work has traveled to world festivals such as Locarno and Rotterdam, and her latest animated film The Siren will premiere during Berlinale in the Panorama section.
