Jerusalem Film Workshop 2021
24 selected participants will stay 6-week summer program in Israel that designed for talented young filmmakers from all over the world, and will get a once in a lifetime experience and opportunity – to be guided by some of Israel’s top filmmakers, to take their filmmaking skills to the next level, while creating an original short film that will premiere at the 2021 Jerusalem International Film Festival!
The JFW will take place from July 27 through September 3. Applicants should be 19-27 years old (or at least one full year post-high school by July 2021), deadline for Applications 14/5.
The participation fee described on the Onward Israel website includes the complete JFW experience – developing, script writing, and the filmmaking process, including film equipment, filmmaking mentors who are well-established and known in the Israeli film industry, post-production (sound and color grading), the film’s distribution, and participation in the Jerusalem Film Festival including a badge for festival access. The program cost also includes housing, medical insurance, food or food stipend, and ground transportation.
